Russian President Vladimir Putin has reprimanded Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and head of the Roscosmos space corporation Igor Komarov, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told TASS.

"Yes," said Peskov when asked if it was true Putin had reprimanded Rogozin and Komarov.

Earlier, the website of the business daily Kommersant said Putin had reprimanded the head of the Roscosmos corporation and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin after the inaugural launch of an unmanned space rocket from the Vostochny cosmodrome was postponed. The daily said the CEO of the research and production association NPO Automatics, Leonid Shalimov was warned of his partial professional ineptitude.

Shalimov made no comment to TASS.
