Reconnaissance units of the Southern MD combined-arms army held a tactic special exercise with usage of UAVs at the combined-arms range Tarskoye (North Ossetia).

In the course of the exercise, the servicemen practiced organizing observation posts, ambushes, searching as well as operating UAVs and repelling attacks of simulated enemy sabotage groups.

Moreover, the servicemen were mastering Grot-M small-sized individual navigation devices. 

More than 500 reconnaissancemen of the 58th army located in the Southern MD are involved in the field training, which is held on February 8 – March 5.
