S7 Airlines and airberlin extend the scope of their partnership

S7 Airlines and airberlin, members of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, signed an agreement on extension of the scope of the code-share agreement, which provides for operation of new code-share flights.  

The code of airberlin will appear on new S7 Airlines flights on the routes Berlin – Moscow and Dusseldorf – Moscow, which will be operated from 27 March 2016. With new S7 Airlines flights airberlin passengers will be able to go to Moscow and to other Russian cities with a convenient connection at the Domodedovo Airport.

“We have been cooperating with airberlin for many years, our collaboration includes both bilateral partnership and cooperation within the oneworld® global aviation alliance. The code-share agreement between the two companies remains in force since 2008. We will be glad to welcome airberlin passengers on new S7 Airlines flights from Berlin and Dusseldorf to Moscow, and on code-share flights to 15 Russian cities form the Moscow Domodedovo Airport”, Igor Veretennikov,  S7 Group Strategy Director, noted.

“We are glad, that our passengers will be able to book flights on the route Berlin – Moscow in the same way as before. These flights will supplement and extend scope of the code-share agreement, which will enable us to offer more than 400 code-share flights with our long-time partner during this summer”, Stefan Nagel, Senior Vice President, Strategic Alliances & Cooperation, said.

Direct flights Moscow – Berlin – Moscow will be operated from 27 March 2016 five times a week, and from May – everyday. S7 Airlines in the only Russian carrier, which performs flights from Moscow to the Tegel Airport.

Flight will depart from the Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 13:05 and arrive in Berlin at 14:50 local time. Return flight will depart at 15:40 and arrive in Moscow at 19:25.

Flights to Dusseldorf will be operated from 27 March three times a week, and from 27 April – five times a week, and from 9 June – everyday. Flight will depart from the Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 13:50 and arrive in Dusseldorf at 16:20 local time. Return flight will depart at 17:10 and arrive in Moscow 21:15.

Berlin and |Dusseldorf Airports are hubs of airberlin, a partner of S7 Airlines within the oneworld® global aviation alliance. S7 Airlines passengers can travel with a convenient connection at one of these airports to all destinations of the route network of airberlin, including European cities Reykjavík, Warsaw, Milan, Florence, Palma de Mallorca, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich.
