Russian Defence Minister inspected construction process of the test training complex of the ship-based aviation in Yeysk

In the course of his working trip to the Southern MD troops, the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the army Sergei Shoigu has inspected construction process of the test training complex of the ship-based aviation in Yeysk (Krasnodar Krai).

According to the report of the Chief of the Russian Naval aviation Major General Igor Kozhin, ski-ramp and boost areas of the Complex are ready to be put into service.

“Construction of the ski-ramp and boost areas of the Complex has been finished. They are ready to be put into service. Aircraft arresting gears are finished by 90%. They are to be constructed in May,” said Major General Igor Kozhin.

According to Major General Igor Kozhin, the whole Сomplex is to be put into service by the end of 2016.
