Renaissance Construction to build new B terminal of Sheremetyevo airport

On March 13, the Boards of Directors of the joint ventures Terminal B Sheremetyevo and Terminal-to-terminal transition Sheremetyevo chose a contractor for implementing the principal development projects at the Northern Terminal Complex / NTC (construction of the new B terminal and two terminal-to-terminal tunnels). Renaissance Construction was chosen as the general contractor, the press service of JSC International airport Sheremetyevo informed. 

The general Sheremetyevo airport development plan assumes the construction of 4 NTC facilities the World championship on football of 2018 for the 2018 FIFA World Cup: a new airport terminal B building for domestic passengers (107,000 square meters, 15 million passengers per year), two 2.1 km long terminal-to-terminal tunnels for passengers and luggage; the third refueling complex and a new cargo complex. 

While preserving the high quality of services, the airport will increase the annual passenger throughput to 50 million by 2018.

Renaissance Construction was established in Russia more 20 years ago. The key projects in its portfolio include the Evolution Tower skyscraper in Moscow City, Lakhta Center (PJSC Gazprom's office in St. Petersburg). In 2014, the company earned RUB 64.4 billion in revenues in Russia.

JSC International airport Sheremetyevo (JSC MASh, tax number: 7712094033) is the largest Russian airport operating international flights to over 200 destinations.

MASh's shareholding structure is as follows: the Russian Federation (83.04% of the authorized capital), PJSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines (8.96%), state-owned corporation Vnesheconombank (4.24%), JSC VTB Bank (3.76%).

In January-February 2016, JSC International airport Sheremetyevo increased its passenger flow by 8.9% year-on-year to 4.478 million.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net loss of the company for 2014 increased 15.3 times to RUB 15.918 billion from RUB 1.04 billion the year before. Revenue increased by 7.47% to RUB 19.151 billion from RUB 17.82 billion, sales profit by 0.37% to RUB 5.775 billion from RUB 5.754 billion, loss before tax 18.72 times to RUB 19.274 billion from RUB 1.03 billion.
