The Vostochny spaceport has begun comprehensive tests of the launch site, and a Soyuz launch vehicle's dry rollout has been practiced, Roscosmos head Igor Komarov told reporters on March 21.

"This moment is very important to us. Comprehensive tests of the launch site have begun, and a Soyuz-2.1A vehicle's dry rollout has been practiced," Komarov said.

Everything was all right on the first day of the tests, the Roscosmos head said. "Employees from all enterprises performed wonderfully," he said.

The dry rollout is a five-day series of tests, during which a rocket is rolled out and installed on a launch pad for testing of systems and units of the takeoff and measuring complexes. At this stage, the launch pad undergoes a full cycle of all launch preparations except for fueling of the rocket.
