Servicemen of two Western MD missile formations left their permanent bases for specialized range in Buryatia to perform S-300 missile firing.

The units are to repel missile strike of the simulated enemy. Therefore, the servicemen are to engage Strizh and Reis targets, which are to imitate attack means of the simulated enemy.  

Combat firing is to take place in the course of one of the tactic exercise stages. About 250 servicemen and more than 100 pieces of military hardware are to take part in the exercise.
