In the course of the flight tactic exercise, crews of Mi-24PN, Mi-28N and Mi-8MTV-5 of the Western MD army aviation formation located in the Leningrad region, are performing training night tasks using special night vision devices.

Moreover, the pilots will perform missile and gun firing in order to engage targets at different distances and altitudes at nighttime. 

During flights at extreme low altitudes, the servicemen will turn off lights and ID signals.

The scheduled exercise of the Western MD army aviation involves more than 100 servicemen and about 10 Mi-24PN, Mi-28N and Mi-8MTV-5 helicopters.
