More than 1,500 servicemen of the Eastern MD air defence troops finished preparing for combat firing at the Telemba range in Buryatia.

In the course of the field training, the servicemen practiced combat alert duty, met qualification standards on deploying and loading the combat hardware, detection, identification and tracking of aerial targets.

Active stage of the tactic exercise with combat firing is to start in the nearest future at the range.

S-300, Osa, Strela-10 and Tor-M2U air defence missile systems and complexes, Pantsyr-S missile and gun antiaircraft complexes, and Shilka missile artillery complexes are to be involved in firing.
