Airborne formation in Primorye tests Strelets-chasovoy personal navigation system

During parachute jumping at the Baranovsky range (Primorsky Krai), servicemen of the Guards Airborne Brigade tested new Strelets-chasovoy personal navigation systems looking similar to a wristwatch.

After landing from a Mi-8AMTSh helicopter, paratroopers defined their position and concentration area in seconds.

In their turn, group leaders sent orders to the servicemen in the format of text messages and using the coordinate system. After detection of a simulated enemy, a warning signals were transmitted through a secured channel.

According to them, the device is reliable under the conditions of low temperatures, it is autonomous and convenient.
