In the course of the scheduled training, units of the Guards Airborne assault brigade located in Primorye were alerted and moved on AFVs to the Baranosky range (near Ussuriysk).
The field training included firing and tactical practice.
After the training, the servicemen performed parachute jumps from Mi-8AMTSh helicopters.
The training also involved units of Leyer-3, Granat-2 and Orlan-10 UAVs.
The drones transmitted data concerning location of the simulated enemy units to the reconnaissance groups, which operated in behind lines of the enemy.
More than 1,000 paratroopers, about 40 pieces of armored and special hardware, army aviation helicopters were involved in the training.
