Exercise on search-and-evacuation of Soyuz TMA spacecraft was held in Chelyabinsk region.

The servicemen had arrived at the Uprun, Central MD army aviation base, where the exercise started. Rescuers practiced first aid treating and mastered international COSPAS-SARSAT international search-and-rescue system.

Operational groups moved to the assigned area by helicopters and snowmobiles, and evacuated the spacecraft.

More than 200 people, including specialists of Roskosmos and Rosaviatsiya, An-26 and Mi-8 transports, more than 30 pieces of special hardware were involved in the exercise.
