Aviation formations and military units of the Aerospace Forces finished preparing for the first stage of the “Aviadarts – 2016” contest.

More than 600 crews of operational-tactic, army, long-range and military-transport aviation and more than 550 aircraft were involved in the preliminaries.

About 20 aviation ranges in the territory of all military districts were prepared for the contest. The pilots are to perform flight navigation, piloting and combat training operation tasks in pairs.

The first contest stage starts on March 1.
