Russia’s five biggest airlines—Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, UTair, Ural Airlines and Pobeda—collectively carried 3.75 million passengers in January, for a market share of 67.8%, up from 53.4% in the year-ago month. For the full year 2015, Russia’s top five airlines reported a market share of 61.4%. Aeroflot carried 2 million passengers in January, up 10.7% year-over-year (YOY). Sibir, which is working under S7 Airlines brand, carried 690,195 passengers, up 28.2%.
