Russian Helicopters plans to make the first export contract on supplies of Russian light multipurpose helicopters Ka-226T with one of the Middle Eastern countries in the nearest future, the company’s Deputy CEO Alexander Shcherbinin said at the Singapore Airshow 2016 on Tuesday.

"Certain countries of South-East Asia and Middle East show interest in Russia’s light helicopter Ka-226T. We’re currently in talks with one of them and hopefully the first export contract on supplies of this helicopter will be made in the nearest future," he said.
