The quadrocopters are going to monitor forest fires and scout hard-to-reach areas during emergency situations, search for and locate tourists lost in the mountains and forests which is of especial relevance for this region.
The drones were tested on 8 February. Each of them flied around the premises of the Sebastopol Directorate, made videos, calculated and transmitted their coordinates to the control board.
Operators have to know how to maintain and operate drones, this is why before receiving the drones, employees of the Sebastopol Directorate took a special course at Noginsk Rescue Center of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations.
