On February 8-12, pilots of the “Strizhi” aerobatic team will demonstrate their skills in combat usage of aviation weapons at the special ranges of the Lipetsk aviation centre.

Military aces will perform launches of unguided rockets and engage ground targets using aviation cannons. Moreover, they will practice bombing at the ranges of the Lipetsk and Voronezh Regions.

Eight crews on MiG-29 aircraft are involved in firing practice.

After returning to the permanent base, the pilots will start honing the elements of their aerobatic programmes.
