Naval aviation crews of the Pacific Fleet detected simulated enemy submarine in the Sea of Japan

Naval aviation crews of the Pacific Fleet, which are deployed at the airfields in Primorye and Khabarovsk Krai, continue performing training flights.

Pilots of Il-38, Il-38N and Tu-143M3 are performing different flight tasks at day- and nighttime. They have already held several exercises on detecting a submarine of the simulated enemy in the Sea of Japan.

Varshavyanka silent diesel-electric submarine of the Pacific Fleet acted as one of the simulated enemy.

Moreover, the crews are improving their skills in piloting over empty view area. They often perform 10-hour flights.

Long- and short-range flights became regular in the course of the Pacific Fleet combat training. It is to be stressed that the flights are conducted in strict accordance with international flight laws.
