Naval aviation crews of the Pacific Fleet, which are deployed at the airfields in Primorye and Khabarovsk Krai, continue performing training flights.

Pilots of Il-38, Il-38N and Tu-143M3 are performing different flight tasks at day- and nighttime. They have already held several exercises on detecting a submarine of the simulated enemy in the Sea of Japan.

Varshavyanka silent diesel-electric submarine of the Pacific Fleet acted as one of the simulated enemy.

Moreover, the crews are improving their skills in piloting over empty view area. They often perform 10-hour flights.

Long- and short-range flights became regular in the course of the Pacific Fleet combat training. It is to be stressed that the flights are conducted in strict accordance with international flight laws.
