Radar units of the Eastern MD practiced detecting group and single targets on the Wrangel Island and Cape Schmidt.
In course of the exercise, the servicemen detected, identified, and tracked training air targets, and transferred their coordinates to the command post of the Air Defence and Air Force of the district.
In order to complicate the task, the crews were to detect grouped and single targets, which moved at different altitudes.
