Crews of Su-25SM3 attack aircraft of the Southern MD aviation regiment, which had been located in the Krasnodar Krai, participated in more than 30 different exercises in 2016.

The pilots practiced eliminating aviation park, large POL storages, manpower of the simulated enemy, objects and bases as well as munitions and weapons cache of the illegal armed formations. 

The exercises were held at the territories of North Caucasus, Rostov and Volgograd Regions, Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol Krai. 

In total, each pilot has performed 150 combat training flights spending in the air more than 100 hours.

About 40 hours they have been operating in complicated weather conditions, mountains as well as at nighttime.
