Seven flights per week to be launched from Russia’s Zhukovsky to Kazakhstan’s Astana and Almaty

The aeronautical authorities of Kazakhstanand Russiaagreed to operate flights en route Zhukovsky – Astana and Zhukovsky – Almaty, according to the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan.

This Ministry obtained a note from the Russian Foreign Ministry to appoint Ural Airlines, Russia, to fly en route Zhukovsky – Astana and Zhukovsky – Almaty.

On December 26, the Kazakh Ministry sent a letter and informed the Russian aviation authorities on the adoption of the Ural Airlines’ appointment to operate flights en route Zhukovsky – Astana and Zhukovsky – Almaty.

In accordance with the existing agreements between the aeronautical authorities of Kazakhstan and Russia, two designated carriers from each country may operate up to seven flights per week on the specified air routes.
