The Yamal Airlines, Russia, has received permission to operate a charter flight to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on December 22, 2016, according to Andrey Dubrov, Commercial Director of this air carrier, TASS reported.
“We got permission from the aeronautical authorities of Tajikistan for the commission charter flight to Dushanbe from Zhukovsky. At 5:00 am Moscowtime on December 22nd, this flight will fly. For almost two days, passengers have been waiting for the flight to Tajikistan”, Mr. Dubrov said.
According to the source, negotiations between aviation authorities of Russia and Tajikistanwill be continued in the morning of December 22, 2016. "Representatives of Tajikistan will arrive in Moscow and we have assumed that five minutes before the ban, i.e., midnight, to get permission to fly charter, not to introduce a ban on flights between our two countries", he added.
Initially, the first flight for Yamal Airlines from the Zhukovsky airport to Dushanbe was scheduled on December 20 at 8:00 am Moscowtime. About 100 passengers have been waiting for departure for almost two days, they are placed in the hotel. "We sent requests to Dushanbe to operate a charter flight. During the last few hours, the Tajik side remains silent”, Mr. Dubrov summed.
