Air Manas launches Zhukovsky – Bishkek flight

Since December 20, 2016 Air Manas has been operating its flights on the Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – Zhukovsky, Russia– Bishkek air route. The air carrier is the first foreign airline, which carries out flights from Zhukovsky.

Regular flights are operated on Tuesdays and Fridays by Boeing 737-800. Departure from Zhukovsky is at 10:10 pm Moscow time, arrival in Bishkek is at 05:35 am Bishkek time, departure from Bishkek is at 07:30 pm local time, arrival in Zhukovsky is at 09:10 pm Moscow time.

“Air Manas is the first foreign airline carrying out flights from Zhukovsky. We look forward to a long-term mutually beneficial cooperation and provide passengers departing from our airport to Bishkek with a choice of airlines flying to this destination”, said Eugene Solodilin, the First Deputy Director General, Ramport Aero.

Earlier, Air Manas was the designated air carrier from Kyrgyzstanfor flight operations en route Zhukovsky – Bishkek (Manas International Airport), as a result of the competition held by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Transport. Air Manas was granted with commercial rights for regular flights from Bishkek to Zhukovsky with a frequency of seven times a week.

“Our Air Company is pleased to begin flights to Zhukovsky, since it is fully consistent with the strategy to expand the Airlines’ air route network and provide passengers with air services at very attractive prices both in Kyrgyzstan and in Russia, as well as flight opportunities to our other destinations, such as Osh, New Delhi, Urumqi and Kashgar”, said Yusuf Serdar Erman, Commercial Director, Air Manas.

We remind herein the airport in Zhukovsky has recently launched air service with Kyrgyzstan: regular flights to Kyrgyzstan’s Oshand Bishkek are operated by Ural Airlines, Russia.

In addition, in the near future, Zhukovsky has a plan to launch other international flights: to Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Baku(Azerbaijan) and Tel Aviv, Israel.

Zhukovsky is a new international airport, located in 23 km from Moscowon the Ramenskoye aerodrome, having the Europe’s longest runway (5,500 meters long). This allows taking passenger and cargo aircraft of any type.
