This year, piloting staff of the Eastern MD aviation units has spent more than 28,000 hours in the air. These results exceed ones of the previous year by 20 percent.

The district army aviation carried out airborne tasks. Moreover, crews of combat helicopters carried out scheduled firing with unguided missiles against ground targets.

Fighter aviation crews practiced aerobatic elements at different altitudes, air combat at low-altitudes, and fired air-to-air missiles.

Attack and bomber aviation held firing training, in course of which the servicemen engaged ground targets with unguided aviation bombs.

Pilots of military transport aviation projected military units and special hardware to unfamiliar ranges in course of the command-and-staff exercises of the Eastern MD.
