Russian Helicopters completes transfer of Ka-52 helicopters

Arseniev Aircraft Company Progress (operating as part of JSC Russian Helicopters) has completed the delivery of the Ka-52 "Alligator" scout and attack helicopters Alligators scheduled for supply in 2016, in accordance with the public contract, according to the press service of Russian Helicopters.

After a number of ground and flight testing, all necessary acceptance procedures and execution of acceptance documents, the helicopters were transferred to the operating companies.

Public Joint Stock Company Arseniev Aircraft Company Progress (JSC AAC Progress, tax number: 2501002394) operating as part of OPK Oboronprom specializes in the manufacture of sporting aircraft and executes orders of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the combat helicopters Ka-50 ("Black Shark") and Ka-52 ("Alligator") designed by the Kamov design bureau. The company is operating as a structural unit of JSC Russian Helicopters.

IFRS net loss of PJSC Arseniev Aircraft Company Progress for H1 2016 increased 2.88 times to RUB 3.192 billion from RUB 1.108 billion for the same period in 2015. Revenue increased by 1.46% to RUB 5.063 billion from RUB 4.99 billion, operating loss 3.99 times to RUB 2.22 billion from RUB 556 million, loss before tax 4.28 times to RUB 3.632 billion from RUB 848 million.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net loss of PJSC Arseniev Aircraft Company Progress for H1 2016 grew by 51.4% to RUB 1.687 billion from RUB 1.114 billion for the same period in 2015. Revenue decreased by 22.18% to RUB 213.775 million from RUB 274.708 million, sales loss increased by 29.82% to RUB 690.298 million from RUB 531.745 million, loss before tax by 52.02% to RUB 2.105 billion from RUB 1.385 billion.
