Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, has extended the temporary restrictions on the air operator’s certificate (AOC) for Pskovavia passenger and cargo airline through Jan. 31, 2017.
The restrictions were announced in November and had been effective through Dec. 7.
The decision to extend the restrictions is based on results of an unscheduled inspection held Nov. 3, as well as on a financial and economic analysis made during the June 30-Sept. 30 period.
Pskovavia is a Pskov-based regional carrier that operates a fleet of Antonov An-24s. It operates Moscow-Saint Petersburg services as well as routes from Saint Petersburg to cities including Bryansk, Vladimir and Kursk.
