UTair Again Is a Leader in Punctuality among Russian Airlines

According to Russian Federal Air Transport Agency Rosaviatsiya, UTair Aviation is once again one of the leading Russian airlines for punctuality in October 2016.    

According to statistics at the end of October, only 1.53% of 6,811 scheduled flights were performed with a time shift, one of the best results among Russian air carriers.

In addition, based on results of the UTair operational program fr om March 27 to October 29 2016 and including data from more than 47,000 flights performed in the period, the flight regularity of the airline approached 99%.

“Every day hundreds of UTair professionals make maximum effort to ensure UTair passengers can realize their travel plans at any time and reach their chosen destination on time,” commented UTair – Passenger Airlines President Alexey Budnik. “UTair has achieved high rates of flight punctuality as a result of clear and concerted action on the part its Flight Operations team as well as thought the efforts of the Flight, Technical and Commercial Departments of the airline. Taking into account the best global practices of airline industry, UTair strives to improve its ability to anticipate conditions causing delays and its early warning systems.”

With its extensive program of air transport, UTair also regularly ranks among the most punctual airlines according to the experience of the largest airports. Throughout 2016 UTair has consistently taken the leading position in punctuality rating in the category of airlines operating more than 100 flights per month at Minsk National Airport, the main international airport in Byelorussia. In 2014 UTair emerged as a leader in punctuality at Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport and at Omsk Tsentralny Airport. In 2013, UTair was recognized as the most punctual carrier of Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, as well as the most punctual carrier at Pulkovo International Airport in Saint Petersburg in 2012 and at Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow in 2010.
