In May 2017, a next mission will be launched to the International Space Station, and anyone can take part in its preparation!

The crew of the Crew Transportation Spacecraft (CTS) Soyuz MS-05 – commander Sergei RYAZANSKI (Roscosmos), flight engineers Randolph BRESNIK (NASA) and Paolo NESPOLI (ESA) made a decision to announce an open competition for designing the mission patch of Soyuz MS-05.

Cosmonaut Sergei RYAZANSKI: “The patch shall include the name of the spacecraft and the names of the crew members. When developing the design, our call sign – Boreas – may also be taken into consideration. As for the rest, we rely on your creative abilities. There is nothing like space to give you inspiration!”

The winner will receive as a gift the patch from the spacesuit of the commander of Soyuz MS-05 after his return from the space mission and valuable gifts from Roscosmos.

The competition will run till November 25, 2016. The results will be announced on December 1, 2016.
