Karaganda – Moscow flight has been delayed for several hours

An aircraft belonged to the Aeroflot Airlines, Russia, was unable to operate its international flight en route Karaganda, Kazakhstan– Moscow, Russia, from the   Sary-Arka InternationalAirportin Karaganda for technical reasons, according to the Kazinform News Agency, Kazakhstan.

Asel Elubaeva, Deputy Chief on Air Traffic Issues, commented, “There are technical reasons. What exactly, I can not say. Landing occurred on time at six o’clock in the morning. By order of the crew, passengers were staying in the passenger cabin for three hours. Then, one has decided to postpone the flight. There are about 130 passengers. Some of them went home, others are currently being carried to hotels. The situation is an emergency, but it can be resolved”.

According to the airport, the flight will take place at 05:30 pm local time. One expects arriving an another aircraft, whereas this particular plane will be inspected to identify the cause of the malfunction.

According to one of the versions, the aircraft’s luggage compartment hydraulics is frozen.
