Due to aircraft failure Somon Air’s Krasnodar – Dushanbe flight delayed for over 24 hours

Somon Air, the Tajik private airline, has delivered its passengers from Krasnodar, Russia, to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, after 24 hours’ delay of its flight due to failure of the airliner.

“The Somon Air’s flight en route Krasnodar – Dushanbe has been delayed for nearly a day because of a problem with the Boeing 737’s air navigation system, as it was identified in flight from Dushanbe”, Timur Bandishoev, Spokesperson, Somon Air, said to the Asia Plus News Agency, Tajikistan.

According to him, all the passengers were promptly placed in a hotel. “By this morning, all the passengers have been safely delivered to Dushanbe, after all the problems of the aircraft have been successfully eliminated”, Mr. Bandishoev added.

This morning, the Interfax-South News Agency, Russia, reported that the Somon Air’s flight en route Krasnodar– Dushanbe was operated with more than a daily delay due to a technical failure of the aircraft.

“Following the repairs, the Boeing 737 belonged to Somon Air departed from Krasnodar at 03:37 am Moscow time to fly to the capital of Tajikistan”, the News Agency said.

According to Russian media, the aircraft departure had been previously delayed for several times. In total, the delay was longer than 24 hours.

A technical failure revealed in flight from Dushanbeto Krasnodarcaused this delay. The aircraft landed in Krasnodarin a normal mode.

148 passengers were checked-in on the delayed flight, and all of them were provided with a hotel.
