The plane that was operating its regular international flight en route Astana, Kazakhstan– Moscow, Russia, was unable to land at Moscow’s Sheremetievo due to high load of this airport. Instead, the aircraft delivered its passengers to the alternate airport in St. Petersburg, Russia.
One has reported that the Moscow’s airport was unable to take a flight from Kazakhstan. For this reason, the crew decided to land in St. Petersburg.
There were 132 passengers on board. According to reports, the plane also was sent to St. Petersburg because of a lack of jet fuel, according to www.inforeactor.ru.
