An Emergency Ministry Antonov An-148 plane is evacuating seriously-ill patients from the city of Krasnodar to the city of Rostov-on-Don and Saint Petersburg. The patients are need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

The jet is rigged up with modern equipment and special medical modules, medical ventilation apparatuses and cardiomonitors which allow providing medical aid to patients onboard. During the flight the patients are going to be accompanied by medical personnel of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas team, Center for Emergency Psychological Aid and psychologists of the Emergency Ministry.

In Saint Petersburg, the patients will be transported to the Almazov Northwestern Federal Medical Research Center for high-tech medical aid.
