In course of the final summer training period inspection, several Su-25SM attack aircraft of the Air Force formation were projected from Primorsky Krai airfields to the Sakhalin Island.

Military pilots will perform flight tactic tasks on covering motorized rifle units of the military district located on the island in course of the tactic exercise.

In particular, Su-25SM pilots will engage ground group targets with unguided aviation missiles, which imitate tactic assault force of the simulated enemy, and practice aircraft gun firing.
