The separate naval aviation regiment of the Black Sea Fleet has received the ninth Su-30SM fighter. The jet was called “Sevastopolsky”.
The fighter’s crew has passed a training course in the Yeysk training centre and has already started performing combat training tasks.
The regiment is to received another aircraft this year.
Pilots of the Black Sea Fleet aviation started operating Su-30SM in Crimea in 2015. These supersonic multidimensional fighters will replace Su-24 bombers.
