Russian pilots delivered humanitarian aid from Armenia to Syria

The first batch of humanitarian aid with food products and clothes to the population of Syria has been delivered from Armenia.

Il-76 aircraft of the Russian military transport aviation loaded with clothes and 40 tons of canned products, fresh vegetables and fruits, flour and sugar took off from the Erebuni airfield (Armenia).

Escorted by Russian military servicemen humanitarian convoys with food products and clothes are to arrive in most damaged inhabited areas of the Syrian Arab Republic in the nearest future.
