Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces is taking part in the Slavic Brotherhood-2016 exercise

Three Il-76MD aircraft and more than 50 servicemen of transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces are to leave Russia for Serbia in order to participate in the Slavic Brotherhood-2016 international exercise. The exercise is held in the Belgrade region on November 2-15.

Armed Forces of Russia, Belarus, and Serbia are taking part in the exercise.

Today, three Il-76MD aircraft have arrived at the Ivonovo-Severnoye airfield from Orenburg. Servicemen of the 98th Airborne division prepared hardware for projection to the exercise area.

The first Slavic Brotherhood-2016 exercise was held last year at the Rayevsky range (Novorossiysk region).
