Aviation units of the Russian Aerospace Forces have received more than 50 new helicopters, including Ka-52, Mi-28N, Mi-35, Mi-8AMTSh, Mi-26, Ansat-U and others, in 2016.
More than 10 pieces of hardware will have been introduced into the troops by the end of 2016.
According to the Chief of the department of the army aviation combat training Major General Oleg Chesnokov, all scheduled activities, including different exercises of the army aviation, air support of interservice exercises, international exercises and International Army Games, have been successfully accomplished.
