S7 Airlines Group increased passenger flow by 27.3% in September

In September 2016, the passenger flow of S7 Airlines Group (Siberia Airlines and Globus) increased by 27.3% year-on-year to 1.347 million, the press service of S7 informed. 

In particular, the passenger throughput on internal air routes increased by 29.9% to 967,075, the number of International passengers by 21.2% year-on-year to 379,664. 

Last month, the passenger turnover grew by 30.6% to 2.801 billion passenger-kilometers, the cargo turnover by 29.2% to 263.939 million tonne-kilometers.

Airlines of S7 Group (Siberia Airlines and Globus) carrying out flights under the S7 Airlines brand participate in the global airline alliance oneworld®. S7 Airlines has the biggest internal route network in Russia based on air transportation centers in Moscow (Domodedovo) and Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) and carries out scheduled flights in Russia, to the CIS countries, Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and the Asia-Pacific countries.

S7 Airlines benefits from the most advanced and one of the youngest fleets in the Russian market of air transportation services.

In 2015, the passenger throughput of S7 Airlines Group's companies increased by 5.6% year-on-year to 10.631 million.

Siberia Airlines, PJSC (tax number: 5448100656) is one of the largest airlines of Russia. Major shareholders of Siberia Airlines are: CJSC S7 Group (63.3%) and the Government of Russia (25.5%). The airline's fleet consists of 40 aircraft: 20 Airbus A319 airliners, 17 A320 airliners, one A310 airplane and two long-haul Boeing 767-300 airliners.

The company's branches and representative offices are operating in 37 cities of Russia, 13 cities of the CIS countries and 14 in other countries.

In January-August 2016, the passenger flow of Siberia Airlines, PJSC (S7 Airlines) increased by 19.2% year-on-year to 6.5 million.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of Siberia Airlines, PJSC (S7 Airlines) for H1 2016 grew by 62% to RUB 491.609 million from RUB 303.46 million for the same period in 2015. Revenue increased by 34.8% to RUB 44.45 billion from RUB 32.975 billion, sales profit by 87.74% to RUB 857.236 million from RUB 456.597 million, pre-tax profit by 62% to RUB 491.609 million from RUB 303.46 million.
