Russian Helicopters supplies helicopters to Defence Ministry of Belarus

A batch of six Mi-8MtV-5 military-transport helicopters manufactured by Kazan Helicopters (operating as part of state-owned corporation Rostec's Russian Helicopters holding) is transferred to the military department of the Republic of Belarus, the company informed.

This September, the six helicopters were delivered and transferred to the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Belarus. These helicopters make up the first batch envisages by a contract for the supply of twelve Mi-8MtV-5 military helicopters. The contract was signed by Russian Helicopters representatives during the Army 2015 International Military Technical Forum. The next batch consisting of six helicopters is expected to be transferred in 2017.

PJSC Kazan Helicopters (tax number: 1656002652), the leading manufacturer of Mi-8/17 series helicopters, is operating as part of the Russian Helicopters, an arm of state-owned corporation Rostec. Existing since 1940, Kazan Helicopters produces modern modifications of Mi-8/17 helicopters. The factory has also developed and is currently producing the Ansat light helicopter. The Russian helicopters manufactured in Kazan have flown a total of more than 50 million flight hours all over the world. Over its history, the company has produced more than 12,000 helicopters.

JSC Russian Helicopters (tax number: 7731559044) is a subsidiary of JSC OPK Oboronprom which itself is part of the Rostec corporation. It controls and manages the following helicopter industry enterprises: Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, Kamov, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, Kazan Helicopters, Rostvertol, Progress Arsenyev Aviation Company named after N.I. Sazykin, Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, Stupino Machine Production Plant, Reduktor-PM, Novosibirsk Aircraft Repairing Plant and Helicopter Service Company.

IFRS net profit of JSC Russian Helicopters, its subsidiaries and affiliates for H1 2016 decreased by 24.1% to RUB 9.841 billion from RUB 12.966 billion for the same period in 2015. Revenue decreased by 1.35% to RUB 86.042 billion from RUB 87.222 billion, operating profit by 17.75% to RUB 18.147 billion from RUB 22.064 billion, pre-tax profit by 26.08% to RUB 14.325 billion from RUB 19.38 billion.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of JSC Russian Helicopters for H1 2016 decreased 16.1 times to RUB 369.743 million from RUB 5.952 billion for the same period in 2015. Revenue increased by 60.54% to RUB 14.808 billion from RUB 9.224 billion, sales profit by 27.6% to RUB 8.628 billion from RUB 6.762 billion, pre-tax profit decreased 32.58 times to RUB 172.471 million from RUB 5.619 billion.
