The ultrasonographs manufactured by Philips EPIQ5 were selected as the most advanced in their niche. They are slightly different in combination of programs and sensors: for the site in Berezniki, the device is mainly intended for cardiology; for the site in Verkhnaya Salda, angeion ultrasound investigation is more required. However, the equipment can be used in different spheres including gynecology and oncology.

The company-manufacturer’s representative paid a visit to VSMPO clininc to familiarize the personnel with the unit operation.
– This unit appeared in Russia half a year ago only. It is characterized by new architecture with a number of program advantages, high efficiency and resolution. Currently training for doctors is arranged. It is possible to generate settings, so called presets, peculiar for any of the doctors, Kazan-based Philips, LLC clinical specialist Mr. Elnar Akhmerov says.
