A pair of Mi-G31BM fighters of the Western MD air base, which had been located in the Tver Region, has performed flight tasks in the north of the Komi Republic.

The flight crews arrived at the operational airfield in Karelia. The aircraft were refueled and loaded with aviation weapons.

The pilots were to intercept simulated aircraft, which had breached the state border, and engage aerial targets with missiles at the distance of up to 100 km at the supersonic speed.

All targets have been successfully engaged.
