Gazpromneft-Aero, the jet fuel business operator of Gazprom Neft, and one of the leaders in the sphere of jet fuel sales in India - Hindustan Petroleum - have signed a new three-year agreement which provides for fuelling of airline partners of Gazpromneft-Aero in airports where Hindustan Petroleum has a presence. In accordance with the agreement, the company provides Gazpromneft-Aero with access to its network of 35 airports in the largest cities of India.
The first cooperation agreement between the companies was signed in 2010. Currently, Gazpromneft-Aero in partnership with the Indian national jet fuel supplier fuels flights by Aeroflot and Volga-Dnepr airlines in the critical tourist and business centers of the country: Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai, Trivandrum and Varanasi. For 6 years, the total volume of fuelling of Gazpromneft-Aero customers via Hindustan Petroleum has amounted to 74 K tons of jet fuel.

For its part, Gazpromneft-Aero has confirmed its willingness to provide its network of fuelling complexes in Russia for fuelling of Hindustan Petroleum customers”, said General Director of Gazpromneft-Aero Vladimir Egorov.
Yogesh Gawali, Member of the Board of Directors, and Marketing Director of Hindustan Petroleum, said: “We welcome the conclusion of a new long-term agreement with Gazpromneft-Aero, which will make it possible for the Russian company to expand its business in our country. During negotiations in Saint Petersburg, we also agreed to exchange experience of project implementation in the sphere of HR, IT and development of innovations in the jet fuel sphere. The volume of jet fuel demand in India is increasing every year by 4%, and in the long run we expect active growth of international flights by Indian airlines, including that in Russia”.
