On October 17, the Board of Directors of PJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines will review the results of procurement activities for the first half of 2016, the company informed.
The Board of Directors will also discuss sponsorship of Russian sports, development of the corporate governance code, the non-core asset disposal program and the procurement regulation, a number of interested party transactions.
PJSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines (tax number: 7712040126) is the largest Russian air carrier accounting for 39% of Russia's international and 11% of domestic air service market. The state owns a controlling interest in Aeroflot (51.17%). The company's fleet consists of Tu-134, Tu-154, IL-96, A319, A320, A321, A330, and B767 airliners.
In January-August 2016, the passenger flow of PJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines increased by 10.2% year-on-year to 19.033 million.
IFRS net profit of the group for H1 2016 was RUB 2.467 billion against a loss of RUB 3.541 billion the year before. Revenue increased by 26.84% to RUB 223.824 billion from RUB 176.467 billion, profit from operations 3.96 times to RUB 23.25 billion from RUB 5.866 billion, pre-tax profit was RUB 8.211 billion against a loss of RUB 3.296 billion for the same period in 2015. EBITDA increased 2.26 times to RUB 30.035 billion from RUB 13.311 billion, EBITDA margin by 5.9 p.p. to 13.4% from 7.5%.
According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of PJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines for H1 2016 was RUB 8.014 billion against a loss of RUB 1.063 billion the year before. Revenue increased by 23.97% to RUB 194.15 billion from RUB 156.605 billion, sales loss decreased 4.33 times to RUB 1.788 billion from RUB 7.734 billion, pre-tax profit was RUB 12.028 billion against a loss of RUB 967.024 million for the same period in 2015.
