Two Su-34 new aircraft were put into service of the Lipetsk aviation center

Today, pilots of the Lipetsk aviation center of the Russian Aerospace Forces performed a long-range nonstop flight from Novosibirsk aviation plant to the permanent base airfield.

It took four hours to reach the destination point. The flight was conducted on middle and high altitudes.

Before the flight, the Aerospace Forces engineer and technical specialists checked all systems and assemblies of the aircraft as well as its readiness for task performance.

Aircraft crews performed trial flights of the hardware, route flights, aerial maneuvering and checked operability of all systems and assemblies.

The hardware was transported to the center in the course of implementation of the State Defence Order.

Su-34 is a multidimensional aviation complex, which is capable to perform tasks of fighter and bomber aviation as well as eliminate aerial, ground and naval targets.

The aircraft is capable to perform a 4,000-kilometer flight. Its payload is up to 8 tons. The aircraft is fitted with newest armament and air refueling systems.
