Pobeda applies for Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic route permit

The Russian low cost carrier Pobeda is planning to assume parent Aeroflot's route allocation for the Czech resort town of Karlovy Vary.

In a filing with Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia), the LCC said it planned to operate seven weekly flights from Moscow Vnukovo to Karlovy Vary should it be given the go-ahead.

Famous for its hot springs, Karlovy Vary (or Carlsbad) is currently connected to Moscow Sheremetyevo and St. Petersburg by CSA Czech Airlines (OK, Prague).
