In the frameworks of Sheremetyevo international airport and MaximaTelecom joint project the main stage of works on replacement and installation of new network equipment to achieve 95% coverage of public areas of terminals C, D, E, F: registration, departure, arrival and transit.
The Wi-Fi AURA network is connected to the Internet channel from MaximaTelecom with a total capacity of 5 Gbps. More than 100 access points allow airport passengers to connect to the Internet at speed up to 50 Mbps. Network responses injured legislative acts, in particular the system of subscribers identification is implemented in accordance with the RF Government Decree № 801.
“Together with partners from Sheremetyevo International airport, we set a new standard of Internet access quality at the airport, providing one of the highest access speeds in Europe. During the first 15 minutes all the passengers can use the AURA Wi-Fi absolutely for free. After this period the user will be offered to select from the most suitable tariff plans designed for different times of stay at the airport: 90 minutes — 99 rubles, 180 minutes — 149 rubles, 720 minutes — 299 rubles. The service can be paid with credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or through your mobile phone account (Beeline, MTS and MegaFon). In future it will be possible to pay using electronic money and other means of payment.
