Aviastar-SP made fuselage panels for the second development prototype of MS-21 aircraft

Fabricated parts have already been transferred to the Irkutsk Aircraft Plant. Let us recall that "Aviastar-SP" together with PJSC "Irkut Corporation" produces a new medium-range aircraft.

Efforts on the production of fuselage fits: F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, were being conducted throughout the year. Currently other units of MC-21 aircraft are under production.

To date, the company is assembling the aft body and the APU compartment for the second experimental aircraft, and started the assy of fuselage panels for the third car - says the JSC "Aviastar-SP" project manager, responsible of MS-21, Vasily Dontsov.

In addition, this year the enterprise is planning to deliver fins and doors for the second prototype, and also the APU compartment together with the aft body for the third one.

The JSC "Aviastar-SP" is the largest factory-cooperant in the MS-21 program. The works on production of the fuselage panels fits (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5); the aft body and the APU compartment; all the doors (11 doors per one airplane); tail assembly (fin and stabilizer block with the rudder and the elevator) are reversed to the enterprise.
