Crews of Su-25SM attack aircraft of the Southern MD aviation regiment located in Krasnodar Krai started performing flights.
More than 100 pilots and members of technical staff, and 20 aircraft are involved in the training.
Su-25SM crews are improving their skills in piloting the aircraft in mountainous terrain in complex weather conditions and at night at different altitudes.
The crews are practicing launching guided missiles and performing bombardment on positions of the simulated enemy at one of the Kuban ranges.
In total, the Su-25SM pilots will perform more than 1,500 sorties using standard weapons.
