Crews of the Southern MD separate helicopter regiment located in the Krasnodar Krai started performing first training flights in 2016.  

More than 30 combat helicopters, including Mi-28N, Mi-35, Mi-24P and Mi-8AMTSh, are involved in the training.

The pilots are performing tasks on elimination stationary and moving surface targets using guns and unguided rockets at the aviation range. 

The servicemen will also perform aerobatics at day- and nighttime and joint maneuvering in wings.
